Joan Peters is a media and entertainment lawyer with over 25 years experience as a lawyer for the creative industries. She is also an experienced executive producer for film and television providing expert advice in practical film and television development, financing, production and marketing.
She is an active and valued member of the national film and television industry having worked as a lawyer on countless television and film productions and provided executive production services on many of these. As a past member of the Screenwest Board and, until February 2016, the first West Australian representative on the national Screen Australia Board, Joan contributes energetically to policy direction, talent development, production focus and the marketability of Australian screen productions on a global perspective.
Joan was twice nominated for WA Citizen of the Year and in 2008 she received the Western Australian Screen Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Film and TV Industry for her work as an entertainment lawyer.
In addition to her legal and executive production work, in 2006 Joan founded Be Kids Australia Inc., a registered charitable organisation working with children. Be Kids currently supports youth from Korogocho with tertiary education scholarships.

Luci practices in the areas of entertainment and commercial law, with a focus on the film and television industry. She began working alongside Joan Peters in 2016 and is passionate about providing effective and practical legal services to assist creative practitioners in their projects.
Luci has over 6 years experience working in the film and television industry, having worked at a number of Australia’s leading independent production companies in both drama and documentary television production, feature film, digital online programing and commercial content.
She has a strong sense of commercial awareness and has worked with a variety of clients including producers, writers, directors, funding bodies and distributors.
Luci holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Australia.
